Brief

(LIVE CONCEPT DESIGN — KOLLEKTIVET LIVET)

The challenge was to rebrand Kollektivet Livet’s live concept, “Lust For Live,” which provides both emerging and established bands the chance to shine together. At selected events, three bands perform during one evening. The goal was to create a new logo and a cohesive design based on the original concept, targeting the right audience and suitable for various digital channels and print materials for effective marketing.

The result

The result was a collective poster featuring the artists for each individual night, formatted for different platforms: Instagram (1080x1080 px and 1080x1920 px), Facebook events (1920x1005 px), and a printed poster (50x70 cm). Additionally, three unique designs were created for artist announcements in Instagram format.

To capture attention and ensure clarity, I chose to animate elements of the design for Instagram, carefully considering the sequence in which information should be presented, with a strong focus on sponsors—in this case, Brooklyn Brewery Non-Alcoholic.

The design changes its color palette for each new evening, and the illustration of “three stars” symbolizes the three live acts. Style, typography, and color choices are tailored to the target audience and the genre that Lust For Live caters to. For the collective posters, I created illustrations inspired by each band or artist performing at the live events. One challenge was prioritizing the right information, ensuring that the concept, live acts, sponsors, and CTA all received proper visual emphasis. This required adjustments in positioning, size, and animations for the typography.
